Pakistani cricketer Shadab Khan has finally addressed the allegations made by TikTok star Shah Taj Khan regarding their alleged relationship. The controversy began in September 2024 when Shah Taj claimed she had been in contact with Shadab via WhatsApp and Instagram for several months.

Appearing on a comedy programme on a private TV channel, Shadab was asked by the host about claims made by actresses that cricketers frequently message them. Responding to the query, Shadab said, “I think even if they do, what’s wrong with it? If you don’t like it, don’t answer, ignore it.” He added, “If she responds, it means she’s also interested in the conversation.”

Shadab further stated that many of these claims are often exaggerated, especially during cricket tournaments. “There’s nothing like what’s being claimed,” he asserted, explaining that such allegations are frequently made for attention. He also revealed that cricketers often joked about these rumors among themselves, saying, “Who sent that message?”

The controversy escalated when Shah Taj Khan appeared on the “Game Show Aise Chale Ga,” hosted by Mathira. Shah Taj admitted to being a huge fan of Shadab, sharing how she traveled to Lahore to watch his matches and was deeply hurt when he got married. She reportedly criticized him during a private conversation, which was leaked and went viral, sparking widespread reactions.
