Fans of Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela are puzzled over the title of their upcoming film, initially promoted as Aashiqui 3. Despite teasers featuring the iconic track “Tu Hi Aashiqui Hai”, the film remains untitled due to a legal dispute between producer Mukesh Bhatt and T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar.

The Delhi High Court ruled in September 2024 that T-Series could not use the Aashiqui 3 title, stating that it could mislead the public. The ruling followed concerns from Bhatt, who objected to the franchise name being used without his involvement.

Kartik Aaryan reportedly wanted to retain the Aashiqui brand in the film’s title, given its emotional connection with audiences. However, due to legal constraints, the makers must find an alternative name while still incorporating the beloved music from the original films.

The uncertainty has left Bollywood enthusiasts speculating whether the film will be rebranded or if a last-minute resolution is possible. With a Diwali 2025 release planned, T-Series faces mounting pressure to finalize the title to avoid delays in promotions. Fans remain hopeful that the essence of Aashiqui will be preserved, even if the name itself undergoes a change.
