Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia have been at the center of controversy after the YouTuber made a disgusting remark about parents on India’s Got Latent. While many celebrities criticized them, others have shown support. Now, a video of Badshah giving a shoutout to Samay during his concert has surfaced online.

Badshah recently performed at Parul University in Vadodara, Gujarat. Towards the end of his concert, he expressed his support for Samay by shouting, “Free Samay Raina,” which drew loud cheers from the audience.

A Reddit user shared the video, sparking mixed reactions. One user commented, “You could have just said ‘I stand with Samay Raina,’ but no worries, maybe next time.” Another questioned, “Free Samay Raina? When was he arrested?”

Others found the gesture exaggerated. “Overdid it, but okay. Second-hand embarrassing ‘free’ lol. Samay isn’t in jail; he’s in the US playing chess,” wrote one user. Another remarked, “Are these guys idiots? Is this issue really that big of a social cause?”

Samay Raina, facing multiple FIRs, later deleted all episodes of the show and stated, “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle… I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly.”
