Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, are reportedly heading for a divorce after 37 years of marriage. Amid widespread speculation, Govinda responded to the rumors in an interview with ETimes, keeping his statement brief.

When asked about reports suggesting trouble in his marriage, Govinda stated, “There are only business talks going… I am in the process of starting my films.” Meanwhile, Sunita has not responded to queries regarding the rumors.

Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, also addressed the reports, saying, “There have been issues between the couple due to certain statements made by certain members from the family. There is nothing more to it, and Govinda is in the process of starting a film for which artists are visiting our office. We are trying to resolve it.”

Recent interviews with Sunita Ahuja have fueled speculation. Speaking to Hindi Rush, she laughed when asked about Govinda’s romantic side and remarked, “I have told him that in my next life, he should not be my husband. He doesn’t go on holidays… I don’t recall a single instance when we both went out to watch a movie.”

Reports suggest that Sunita had sent a separation notice months ago, but no further action has been taken.
