New dad and hockey fan Justin Bieber has revealed that he’s not going to waste any time when it comes to getting his 6-month-old son Jack Blues onto the ice.

While playing in “Skate For LA Strong”, a charity hockey game at the Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, Feb. 23, Justin Bieber, 30, gave a sideline interview to the Los Angeles Kings’ media team and revealed his plans to get his son into skates.

Asked how soon he was “looking to get your kid on skates,” the musician smiled and replied, “As soon as possible.” “What is too early?” the reporter asked, to which Bieber responded, “It’s never too early.” The “Peaches” singer shared what it meant to him to support people affected by the fires.

“This is everything,” he said. “We’re just looking to have a good time and to just show that when we all come together good things can happen.”

Bieber showed his playful side on the ice by engaging in a fake “fight” with hockey legend Jeremy Roenick. In a clip posted by the LA Kings on X, the duo playfully exchanged soft punches and laughed before a fellow player separated them. Bieber then skated around, hyping up the crowd.

Erin Andrews, Rob McElhenney, and Caitlin Olson attended the game, while Snoop Dogg, Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrell, Danny DeVito, and Cobie Smulders served as coaches.

Last month, Bieber shared how he is ensuring his baby boy becomes a hockey fan, just like his dad.

The “Yummy” hitmaker shared a photo on his Instagram Stories of a gift he received for his son, Jack Blues, whom he shares with his wife, Hailey Bieber. The snap showed a blue and white Toronto Maple Leafs jersey with Auston Matthews’ number, along with a heartfelt message written across the jersey’s numbers by the legendary player.
