Actor Aadar Jain has spoken out for the first time regarding the controversy surrounding his recent “time pass” remark, which many speculated was aimed at his past relationship with Tara Sutaria. The comment, made during his pre-wedding festivities with Alekha Advani, sparked online debate.

In an interview with Times of India, Aadar clarified that his words were misinterpreted and blown out of proportion. “There are so many false narratives, false assumptions, but no fact-checkers,” he said, expressing concern about how such speculation affects not just him but also Tara, Alekha, and their families. “People made it out to be something else and directed towards someone else… It’s unfair for her (Alekha) and her family, me and my family, her (Tara) and her family.”

He further emphasized that his statement had no hidden meaning, stating, “I would not think of anyone else when I’m getting married… My parents always taught me to respect my past, my present, and now my future.”

Alekha also addressed the issue, calling the controversy “baseless.” She added, “Even she (Tara) knows that we’ve been friends for so long.”

The controversy stemmed from a video where Aadar said during his wedding event, “I have done time pass for four years of my life. But now I’m with you, baby.”
