Zayn Malik recently canceled his show in Mexico City due to a severe case of food poisoning. The “Dusk Till Dawn” singer had planned to perform in the city on March 28, 2025. Despite exploring alternative options, the highly acclaimed artist ultimately had no choice but to call off his anticipated performance.

Zayn Malik is on his “Stairway to the Sky” tour, which began in November 2024. This marks the “What Makes You Beautiful” artist’s first tour in several years.

Zayn Malik wrote on his Instagram Stories, “I’m heartbroken to say that I won’t be able to perform tonight in Mexico City.”

The singer stated that he had been feeling sick since the morning of his scheduled performance. Despite his efforts to take the stage for his loving fans, his body simply didn’t allow him.

Expressing his regret over the cancellation of the concert, the A Whole New World artist stated, “I’m so sorry to let you down. The love and energy I always feel from my fans mean the world to me, and it hurts deeply to miss this moment with you.”

Zayn Malik thanked his patient fans for their understanding and sent his love to each of them.

In the evening, Zayn Malik apologized and provided a health update, revealing that he and his crew were suffering from food poisoning. He added, “It’s no joke. [I’m] still struggling.”

Just days after paying tribute to his late bandmate Liam Payne, the “Story of My Life” singer canceled his show. For those unfamiliar, the artist passed away in October last year.
