Legendary actor Irrfan Khan has been reportedly taken to a hospital in Mumbai and is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Irrfan Khan is a cancer survivor. His mother had died recently in Jaipur and he could not attend due to the ongoing lockdown. Irrfan had attended the funeral through a video call.

Sources said that he had suddenly fallen ill and was taken to the hospital.

Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in 2018 and was on sabbatical.

He has talked about his life during the promotion of his film ‘Angrezi medium’.

In an email interview, he had said, “I tell life: ‘Lag Jaa Gale Ki Phir Yeh Haseen Shaam Ho Naa Ho, Shayad Is Janam Mein Mulaqaat Ho Na Ho [Embrace and hug my life, for you never know if we will ever have this magical evening like this or not, Perhaps we may meet or never meet again in my lifetime],”
