Indian actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has praised captain of India jet that crashed during landing to the Kozhikode Airport in Kerala.

In an Instagram post, Bebo appreciated him for taking timely decision and saving many lives.

“A big salute to the late Captain Deepak Sathe, whose timely decision saved many lives.”

She expressed grief over the loss of many lives. She also expressed concern for the people affected by the disaster.

“Heartbreaking news….Prayers and condolences to the families of everyone affected in the #airindiacrash at Kozhikode.”

“Deepest condolences to his family and also those of other crew members who lost their lives”.

At least 17 people, including pilot and and co-pilot, killed when a Air India airplane overshot and skidded off the runway as it landed in southern India, breaking into two pieces.

According to the details, dozens of people left injured, after the Air India Express Boeing 737 originating from Dubai touched down in Kozhikode in heavy rain.
