Indian film producer Rahul Mitra reported that the latest MRI and PET scans of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt have revealed that he is now cancer free.

According to Indian media reports, film producer Rahul Mitra, who has worked with Sanjay Dutt twice, gave the latest details about the actor’s health in his recent interview.

In his interview, Rahul Mitra said about Sanjay Dutt’s health that in the last few days, the actor has undergone various tests again, the results of which have been very good and in favor of Sanjay Dutt.

Rahul said that according to the latest medical reports of Sanjay Dutt, there is no cancer germ in his body now, meaning he is now cancer free.

“I still cannot forget the first time I spoke to him after it was confirmed that he had the Big C. I broke down on the phone and told him to promise me that he would come out of it. And he promised. He told me that I should take care of myself as friends have to be strong. It was so reassuring. Sanju is a rock. He was determined to defeat cancer. Hats off to his will-power”, he said praising the veteran Bollywood actor.

Sanjay Dutt had been diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in August last year.

According to Indian media, Sanjay Dutt had earlier decided to go to the US for treatment and had obtained a US visa for five years on medical grounds.

Later, Sanjay Dutt started his treatment at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai and after the treatment, he was able to beat the cancer.
