The teaser for Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been out. Kiara Advani, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav also star in the film, which is a standalone sequel to Priyadarshan’s 2007 horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. The latest trailer features Kartik Aaryan as Rooh Baba and shows the reappearance of a spirit in a haveli.

The teaser begins with a view of a silent haveli playing in the background while the song Ami Je Tomar plays. Chandeliers are turned off one by one as the camera draws closer to a locked door. Which is immersing the haveli in darkness. As the door’s lock breaks loose by itself, a spirit is seen waking up in wrath. The teaser then shows Kartik as a Rooh Baba. Dressed in black rather than Akshay’s yellow as in the original. As he enters the haveli, Rajpal Yadav is seen assailing him. In the original, he was known as Chhote Pandit.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa2, directed by Anees Bazmee, will be released in theatres on May 20. The film was supposed to be released in July of last year, but it was postponed owing to the coronavirus outbreak. It was originally set for March 25, but was postponed to May to avoid a clash with SS Rajamouli’s RRR.
