Ayushmann Khurrana believes that Indian’s diversity should be cherished

Ayushmann Khurrana, who stars in the upcoming film ‘Anek,’ thinks that India is a “mashup” of different cultures. Therefore the country’s diversity should be cherished.

Following the critical praise for Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Article 15,’ the actor has teamed up with the filmmaker again for a new film.
The film recounts the journey of an undercover detective named Joshua. Which is played by Ayushmann Khurrana. Who “wants nothing more than peace for the nation.” It is set against the geopolitical backdrop of Northeast India.
“India is a complicated country; it is unlike any other country.”

“Our country is really distinctive; we should appreciate that uniqueness,” the 37-year-old actor said in an interview. “That uniqueness is diversity, and diversity is ‘Anek.”
Being an Indian implies loving fellow Indians. Regardless of their language, religion, geography, or community, for Khurrana.
“There should be a sense of belonging.” That is what an Indian is. Since we are a mash-up of several cultures, which should be celebrated rather than divided, he added.

When they were filming the end credits song for ‘Article 15,’ Khurrana stated Sinha suggested Anek to him (2019).

Andrea Kevichusa, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, and JD Chakravarthy feature in the film, which explores discrimination against people from Northeast India.

The goal with Anek, according to Khurrana, was to make the issue relatable to the general public. The film is set to release on 27th of May 2022.
