Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan had a major falling out in 2021. With that their collaboration, Dostana 2, was put on hold. Despite the fact that they had shot more than half of the film. Soon after, Karan and his production company, Dharma Productions, hinted that the picture will be completely remade. With another actor taking Kartik Aaryan’s place. They also stated that Dharma Productions will no longer cooperate with Kartik. Albeit the reason for this was not stated.

“I just focus on my work,” Kartik said in a new interview, when asked if his conflicts with industry insiders could lose him work. That’s all I have to say about it. Take a look at my (film) schedule.

He was also questioned about industry lobbyists working against him. “What occurs sometimes is people make ‘baat ka batangad’ (make a mountain out of a molehill),” Kartik explained. There isn’t much else to say. Nobody has that much time (to think so much). Everyone simply wants to work and perform well. Everything else is simply speculation.”

Kartik Aaryan is now promoting his soon to release film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 on the work front.
