Poonam Dhillon took a journey down memory lane on Friday, sharing retro photos from the sets of her film Trishul (1978). Poonam shared the images on Instagram, alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Sanjeev Kumar, Randhir Kapoor, and Gita Siddharth.

Amitabh Bachchan is seen hugging Poonam in a bridal gown in the first shot. Standing next to them are Gita and Shashi Kapoor. In the second photo, Randhir poses with Shashi, Poonam, Amitabh, Gita, and Sanjeev. Shashi was holding a clapper with the words ‘Trishul’ and ‘first shot’ inscribed in monochrome.

Poonam wrote the photographs she shared, “My first film was released on May 5th. When I was about 16 years old… I never imagined it would be the start of a profession that I would love so much!! I’ve worked in films, television, theatre, and now OTT for 44 years. Thank you, God, for this incredible adventure, and thank you, everyone. For the love you’ve shown me throughout the years. Thanks also to my media contacts.”

Yash Chopra directed the film Trishul, which was scripted by Salim–Javed. Gulshan Rai directed and produced the film. Raakhee, Hema Malini, Sachin, Prem Chopra, and Iftekhar are among the cast members. Waheeda Rehman made an appearance that was noteworthy.
