Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are one of Bollywood’s most popular on-screen and off-screen couples. They are often seen supporting each other at public events and outings. The couple tied the knot in 2007 and has been going strong ever since. Guru, Dhoom 2, Umrao Jaan, Kuch Naa Kaho, Sarkar Raj, and a slew of other films have featured the duo. They last appeared together in Mani Ratnam’s film Raavan, which was released in 2010. Their fans have been longing for them to appear on screen together ever since.

Abhishek said, “It has to be the right script at the right time. Until we don’t find that, we can’t do a film together. But we both love to work together.”

The actress is poised to make her feature debut in Mani Ratnam’s Tamil period film Ponniyin Selvan: I, which is set to release the movie on September 30.
