On Friday, Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan went to the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai. They were dressed in matching cream Nehru jackets and white kurta pajamas. While Abhishek’s Breathe Into The Shadows season 2 debuted on Amazon Prime on Wednesday, Amitabh’s movie Uunchai hit theatres on Friday.

Amitabh and Abhishek are shown in a video from the Siddhivinayak temple asking Lord Ganesha’s blessings, receiving a tilak on their foreheads, and receiving a patka (short cloth).

At a recent special screening of Uunchai, Abhishek and Jaya Bachchan took Amitabh Bachchan’s place. Salman Khan, Bhagyashree, Kangana Ranaut, and many others were also present.

Uunchai, in which Amitabh appears, also stars Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, Sarika, and Parineeti Chopra. Three longtime friends fulfil their late friend’s final wish by climbing Mount Everest in the Sooraj Barjatya movie.

The protagonist of Breathe Into The Shadows is Abhishek. Amit Sadh, Nithya Menen, and Saiyami Kher are also featured in the Mayank Sharma-directed murder thriller. Amitabh Bachchan wished Abhishek on Twitter the day before the premiere of his show. “to BREATHE.. my best ever for you always Bhaiyu..,” he tweeted after sharing the trailer. Looking very good indeed!

Abhishek claimed Amitabh Bachchan is biassed and binge-watched the final season of Breathe while speaking at a Conclave. “We’ve been busy promoting and he (Amitabh) gets excited about everything we put out for the new season. He’s invested and excited,” said Abhishek.
