The actor reportedly arrived in Mumbai after travelling to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates as a special guest of the Sharjah International Book Fair 2022. Other media outlets have reported that he was carrying fancy watch cases worth Rs 18 lakh.

According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan was required to pay a penalty custom tax of Rs 6.83 lakh before being permitted to leave the airport. It is important to note that the superstar has already been stopped at the Mumbai airport. He was questioned by a group of customs officers in 2011 for having too much luggage and failing to declare foreign goods. He was fined Rs. 1.5 lakh.

At the book fair, Shah Rukh Khan discussed his upcoming movies and expressed his confidence that they would be huge hits. “If I did not have that belief that I am making a product that lots of people are going to like then I won’t be able to do it. So. it’s not an arrogant statement, this is what I like to believe. It’s a child-like belief that ‘look, I have prepared my best, I have done my best I am going to pass with flying colours,’” Shah Rukh is credited with saying.
