Rakesh received a standing ovation from the show’s judges, Shankar Mahadevan, Anu Malik, and Neeti Mohan, in the clip. He said in the video, “Main koi show mein jata nahi hun kabhi. Yeh show dekha TV pe toh maine khud phone kiya ki ‘Main is show mein aana chahta hun’ (I never go to any show. I watched this show on TV and I called up myself saying, ‘I want to come to this show’).”

Contestants Atanu Mishra and Aarohi Soni performed the song Tum Se Badhkar by Rakesh from the movie Kaamchor during the show. Rajesh Roshan served as the movie’s music director, and the song was featured on Rakesh. Rakesh was also spotted dancing with Bharti Singh, the show’s host.

Sharing the video, Hrithik wrote, “Music and songs have always been at the core of the Roshan household, dating back to my daduji (grandfather) Shri Roshan Lal Nagrath. Excited to watch my dad @rakesh_roshan9 & my dear chacha @rajeshroshan24 come together on TV for the first time to celebrate the music only on #ZeeTV’s #SRGMPLilChamps! Rakesh had already uploaded the identical video to his Instagram account. The upcoming weekend will see the episode telecast. Reacting to the post, Hrithik had commented, “Woah! This is FUN! Looking amazing papa.”

On Thursday, Rajesh posted a number of images taken on the show’s set. He captioned the post, “Sitaaron ki mehfil mein goonjega taraana (A line from the title track of the 2000 film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai).” Rakesh and Rajesh posed beside Bharti, Shankar, Anu, and Neeti in the first picture. In another photo, the brothers were seen posing beside the competitors. Rakesh and Rajesh were seen grinning for the camera in the final image.

Fans may next catch Hrithik in Siddharth Anand’s film Fighter. Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor are also featured in the movie. As the country’s first airborne action drama, it is highly regarded. The movie Fighter is slated to hit theatres on January 25, 2024.
