The long-awaited movie Govinda Naam Mera, starring Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, and Bhumi Pednekar, is made by Shashank Khaitan. The movie was supposed to come out in June, but for some reason, it was postponed. But now that everything is prepared for a December release, some individuals with knowledge of the project have also revealed the film’s release date.

Fans have been anticipating the movie ever since it was revealed in November of last year. Recent sources state that the movie’s new release date is December. A recent article cited a source familiar with the situation who provided the most recent information about the movie. The source close to the development said, “Govinda Naam Mera will release on December 16, 2022 on Disney Plus Hotstar. The platform had a few dates in mind, however, they have finally zeroed down on December 16. It’s an important film for them, and they will make an official announcement soon.”

The formal release date has not yet been announced by the producers, however, the movie will supposedly now open on December 16. Also uncertain is whether the movie will be broadcast in theatres or online. According to the most recent information, the movie will air on Disney Plus Hotsar. The film is supported by Dharma Productions by Karan Johar and Viacom18 Studios.

Vicky Kaushal previously worked with Kiara Advani on the movie Lust Stories, and Kaushal also teamed up with Bhumi Pednekar on Bhoot: Part One: The Haunted Ship.

Working on Aditya Dhar’s The Immortal Ashwatthama and Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur are Vicky Kaushal. He has already finished shooting the first schedule of the Sam Manekshaw biopic. Production on The Immortal Ashwatthama, which also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu, is expected to start in 2023. In addition, Kiara Advani is currently filming Sameer Vidwans’ Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kartik Aaryan as well as Shankar’s RC15 with Ram Charan. Pednekar also has the roles of Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Sudhir Mishra’s Afwaah and Arjun Kapoor in Ajay Bahl’s The Lady Killer.
