On December 4 in the 450-year-old Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur, Rajasthan, actress Hansika Motwani wed businessman and longtime boyfriend Sohael Kathuriya in a private ceremony. The actor took a significant amount of time off from work for her wedding in Jaipur, but she will immediately start shooting after saying “I do” to Sohael.

A source claims that the star wants to complete her work-related tasks before leaving to spend time with her hubby. “She’ll head back to work on December 6 and already has a brand shoot lined-up on that and the next day,” says the insider.

Even though the newlyweds have chosen a charming place for their honeymoon, it won’t begin until the end of the month. “They’ve picked a very magical destination, and go to catch the magic of Northern Lights on their honeymoon. So, the break for the vacation will only happen at the end of the month after she has wrapped up all her pending work. In all likelihood, they’ll ring in the New Year on their honeymoon, and usher in the new beginning with 2023,” adds the source.

Motwani began the wedding festivities in Mumbai with a close-knit Mata Chowki. Her family and close friends attended the wedding. Pre-wedding events included a Haldi ceremony on December 4’s morning, a mehendi and sangeet event on December 3, and a Sufi night on December 2.
