Kartik Aaryan launched Aashiqui 3 with Anurag Basu, Bhushan Kumar, and Mukesh Bhatt in September. The actor tweeted, “Ab Tere Bin Ji Lenge Hum. Zeher Zindagi Ka Pi Lenge Hum. #Aashiqui3. This one is going to be heart-wrenching!! My First with Basu Da,”  This long-awaited project has generated significant buzz since its announcement.

Mukesh Bhatt will cast a new actor beside Kartik for the third installment of the franchise.

The filmmaker acknowledged, “We are still looking. I am going through a very extensive search. We want to introduce a new face for Aashiqui 3.

” I’m searching extensively. Aashiqui 3 will have a fresh look. He said filming will start next year. Bhatt: “We are getting our script ready,”

Kartik Aaryan told Variety, “The timeless classic ‘Aashiqui’ is something I grew up watching and working on ‘Aashiqui 3’ is like a dream come true. I feel privileged yet grateful collaborating with Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt for this opportunity. I’ve been a big fan of Anurag Basu’s work and collaborating with him on this one will definitely shape me in many ways.”  I’m honoured to work with Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt. I’m a fan of Anurag Basu’s work, so partnering with him will change me.

Kartik Aaryan‘s next films include Rohit Dhawan’s Shehzada, Sameer Vidwans’ Satyaprem Ki Katha, and Hansal Mehta’s Captain India.
