Randeep Hooda’s work has impressed audiences. The audience eagerly awaits his next outstanding performance. The actor is promoting his Netflix show CAT. Fans are intrigued by CAT’s trailer and marketing. Balwinder Singh Janjua directs him as police informant Gurnaam Singh. The thriller is set in Punjab. As CAT arrives on December 9, He discussed boycotts, OTT vs. theatre, and more.

“It’s a script. It was a really engaging story that spanned two periods and dealt with Punjab’s insurgency and drug pandemic since partition (Punjab). I don’t know the status. The character’s background was interesting. It’s a human drama. We worked effectively together in the social comedy Tera Kya Hoga Lovely. It was easy to say yes because the character was so well-developed. I loved it.”.

The actor liked CAT’s writing. remarked  “Well, it was a script. To begin with, it was a very intriguing script, which goes over two timelines and deals with the two most affecting eras of Punjab since the partition, which were the insurgency and the drug pandemic that had hit (Punjab). I’m not sure what stage it is now. But that was a very interesting backdrop for the character. It is a good human drama unfolding in front of it. Also, I had worked with Balwinder Singh Janjua in a movie called Tera Kya Hoga Lovely, which was a social comedy and we really gelled well. The character was very layered and great and it was quite a no-brainer to say yes to this. And I thoroughly enjoyed doing it.”

Randeep’s relationship with Lin Laishram is formal. They’ve dated for a while, reportedly. They started dating on Diwali. The star declined to discuss his marriage preparations.  “I have no interest in talking about all that with anybody.” he said.
