The series marks Shahid Kapoor’s digital debut and features Vijay Sethupathi, Raashi Khanna, and Kay Kay Menon. It’s a criminal drama. Farzi will launch in February, we’ve learned exclusively.

“Shahid Kapoor’s digital debut will happen in February 2023. The release plan is being chalked out at the moment, but Farzi is all set to be out for audience viewing before the closure of first quarter of 2023,” according to a source close to the project. The trailer and other marketing assets will begin rolling a month before its debut.

Shahid was excited about Farzi’s digital debut during its introduction.  “It’s so different from what we do in movies. I am nervous but excited. I always wanted to do something challenging and different. This story and character to me match every film that I have done. I can’t wait for the audience to see it.”

Shahid is filming alongside Kriti Sanon for Dinesh Vijan. It’s a robotic-based romantic comedy slated for late 2023. Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bloody Daddy will shortly launch on Jio’s new platform. The actor will also star in Anees Bazmee’s comedy in March 2019.
