Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are rumoured to be getting married soon, and her father Suniel Shetty quipped that if the media let him know the exact dates, he would be there for sure. KL Rahul and Athiya have been dating for a while. They go on holidays together and she occasionally joins him on his trips.

The batsman reportedly requested leaves in January 2023, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) granted it, according to reports from last month. Soon, rumours that he will wed Athiya in January inundated the internet. Suniel stated that the wedding will happen soon during the screening of his new show Dharavi Bank’s teaser.

He has since clarified that the dates are still subject to confirmation. Suniel said, “Let me know when you get the confirmed dates so I can attend (the wedding).”

Earlier this year, to celebrate Athiya’s 30th birthday, Rahul shared a few images of her. He wrote, “Happy birthday to my clown (he used clown face emoji) you make everything better.”

In an earlier interview, Suniel had said, “I know about all the rumours that are around their wedding now and then. And I can tell you that I am looking at it as in the date. With both their schedules and stuff like that, we are figuring out things. Hopefully soon, we will know as to when, where and what will it finally happen.”
