Katrina Kaif‘s reference to her next movie Pathaan prompted a response from Deepika Padukone. On Tuesday, Katrina shared a photo of the Zoya character from her movie series Tiger on her Instagram Stories. The caption Katrina included with the photo read, “My friend Pathaan is on a dangerous mission.”

In the interest of national security, Katrina Kaif continued,  “It is very important in the interest of national security that you don’t reveal anything about this. You are all part of this classified mission now. Zoya.” Shah Rukh, Deepika, and John Abraham were also mentioned, along with the hashtag “Pathaan.” A kissing teddy bear gif was also included when Deepika shared the article on her Instagram Stories. the post.

Tiger is a spy movie produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF). Kabir Khan was the director of the first movie, Ek Tha Tiger (2012). It centres on a fictional RAW agent played by Salman Khan named Avinash Singh Rathore, also known as Tiger, who falls in love with a Pakistani spy played by Katrina Kaif named Zoya Humaini. Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai, the follow-up, was released in 2017. This year’s Diwali will see the release of Tiger 3, the third instalment of the movie.

Shah Rukh has a cameo appearance in Tiger 3 in recent reports from the news, citing a source. “Shah Rukh Khan will shoot for Tiger 3 immediately after Pathaan release, thus confirming his presence in the Tiger franchise. Siddharth Anand directed Pathaan, which opens in theatres on Wednesday. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham are the movie’s stars. Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi versions of Pathaan will be released in theatres.
