Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and Shah Rukh Khan are currently basking in the glow of Pathaan’s enormous success. Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana are also featured in the Siddharth Anand-directed movie. Salman Khan, a superstar, made a special appearance as well. The Pathaan team held the first press conference in Mumbai on Monday night while also basking in the thundering box office reception. John, who has worked with SRK on a movie for the first time, was heard appreciating him.

John was questioned regarding his employment history with Pathaan. He was seen praising everyone for their tremendous love as he talked about it. He continued by expressing gratitude to director Aditya Chopra for “positioned him brilliantly” in the movies. John, who played Jim in Pathaan, was heard referring to SRK as the “biggest action hero.”

John said, “I would like to say this on stage, I would like to thank Aditya Chopra. How he positions me is amazing, whether it’s Dhoom or Pathaan. My director is responsible for representing me and the entire cast, and very importantly I got to work with Shah Rukh. I don’t think he is an actor anymore, he is an emotion. Which is why I nearly went to kiss him in many scenes (laughs). I have worked with Deepika earlier, and it’s amazing to work with her. The songs feature one of the most beautiful man (Srk) and the most beautiful woman (Deepika). I used to think I am an action hero, but today Shah Rukh is the biggest action hero in the country.”

Deepika also discussed the triumphant box office run of Pathaan. The film reached the 500 crore club globally five days after its release. She stated that they desired to produce a quality movie. She revealed, “To be honest, I don’t think we set out to break records, we set out to make a film with love and the right intentions. Most importantly we had a good time. This is what Shah Rukh taught me in my first film which works with people you have a good time with. I think that intention is coming across on screen.”
