Babil Khan shared the images on Instagram, “Questions keep me up at night. Those that I never asked then, those that I can never ask now. My inquiries are left for me to quench on my own, that’s okay, I will figure it out. I miss your laughter though, I don’t think there is an answer for that. Remembering a day when you arrived here.”

Irrfan’s image of Sutapa on a beach, spinning around with young Babil in her arms, was captured in monochrome. Irrfan and Babil might be seen in another image laying on the floor of their house. Babil watches as Irrfan moves a toy bus across the floor. Additionally, there is a picture of Irrfan playing with a toddler and carrying a newborn infant in his arms.

Babil Khan and Ayaan Khan are Irrfan and Sutapa’s two sons. Babil is the more senior. Qala, a Netflix original film, marked his recent film debut. It featured Swastika Mukherjee and Tripti Dimri in the key roles. The turbulent relationship between an aspiring singer and her controlling mother is the subject of this 1930s-era drama. In the movie, Babil portrayed an artist that Qala envies. Anvita Dutt Guptan was the director.

Babil had previously discussed the weight of Irrfan’s legacy before to the film’s premiere last year. In an interview, he said, “I am always comparing myself to the legacy… you know, bhaar hai (there is a weight on my shoulders). I am a person who wants to give the best when I am doing something. We shot this two years ago. I have grown as an actor a lot. So, I always wonder ‘I wish I would have done this or that’. But I also believe that whatever art you make has its own journey and you can’t bring your own ego into it.”
