It is a curious coincidence that Mumbai-based actor Urvashi Rautela was near a hospital where cricketer Rishabh Pant is being treated. Rishabh has been sent to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute after being recently involved in a nearly fatal tragedy. He was rumoured to be dating the actor, although they had already exchanged cryptic postings in which they bashed one another.

Thursday, Urvashi published a black and white image of the hospital building on her Instagram Stories. She appeared to be close to the medical centre. Without a commentary, the post simply geotagged the name of the city.

Rishabh Pant was flown from Dehradun to Mumbai on Wednesday for surgery. According to a statement from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the wicketkeeper-batsmen will have surgery and further operations for ligament tears.

“He will be admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute and will be under the direct supervision of Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala, Head – the Centre for Sports Medicine, and Director – Arthroscopy & Shoulder Service at the hospital. Rishabh will undergo surgery and subsequent procedures for ligament tears and will continue to be monitored by the BCCI Medical Team throughout his recovery and rehabilitation,” the BCCI said in an official statement.

Rishabh was involved in an automobile accident on December 30 just before the new year. On the Narsan boundary of Roorkee, close to Hammadpur Jhal, he was travelling back from Delhi to Roorkee when his automobile struck the fence. When the collision occurred on the Delhi-Dehradun highway, Rishabh was the only person in the vehicle. He has wounds on his forehead, back, and leg. After the collision, his car was burned severely.

Later, Urvashi’s mother Meera Rautela posted for Rishabh. In the previous year, Urvashi alleged that “Mr RP” had left 16–17 unanswered calls in an attempt to contact her after waiting for a long time in vain to meet her at an event in Delhi. This spawned a string of oblique Instagram postings.
