Actor Mohanlal and filmmaker Karan Johar recently departed from Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, on the same private flight. Mohanlal was at the same place for unexplained reasons at the same time that Karan Johar was occupied attending Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s wedding in Rajasthan. Fans were left wondering whether Mohanlal and Karan would work together soon after he shared a selfie of them on his Instagram account on Wednesday.

The picture showed fans inside the luxurious lives of the famous people. In sunglasses, Karan and Mohanlal posed inside the private plane. Additionally evident were the spotless, wooden-decorated interiors of the jet. The Malayalam actor captioned the image, “Time well spent with Karan.”

Karan Johar chose baggy jeans, a denim jacket, and a black shirt for his airport outfit. Mohanlal sported black slacks, sneakers, and a green shirt with a design. A follower responded to the image by writing, “Great Actor Mohanlal with Genius Director Karan Johar.” Another person said, “Something cooking.”

After the wedding, Karan was photographed leaving for the airport in Mumbai on Wednesday. Soon after, Sidharth and Kiara also made their public debut as husband and wife. Tuesday marked their wedding.

On social media, Karan Johar posted a note specifically for them. “I met him (Sidharth Malhotra) a decade and a half ago…. Silent, strong and still so sensitive…. I met her many years after… silent ,strong and so sensitive in equal measure… Then they met each other and i realised in that moment that the these two pillars of strength and dignity can make an irreplaceable bond and create the most magical love story together…. Watching them is a fairy tale that is rooted in tradition and family… As they exchanged vows on a mandap of mohabbat everyone around them felt the pulse…felt the energy… I sat proud, elated and bursting with only love for the two of them! Mohanlal, meanwhile, was absent from the wedding. He had informed paparazzi at the airport,“I don’t know about that. I am not invited.”
