Kartik Aaryan has spoken out about the latest public photo of him and Sara Ali Khan took in Udaipur. A little more than a week ago, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik were seen chatting and grinning while standing close to one another. Kartik also disclosed in a recent interview whether he is starring in a movie with Sara.

The two stars posted pictures from Udaipur on their individual Instagram Stories after their photo was circulated on social media, but they didn’t mention one another. In 2020, Imtiaz Ali will direct the movie Love Aaj Kal, which starred the two stars. They supposedly had a brief relationship during that period.

Kartik said, “We happened to be at the same place. Toh bas waha se kisine photo kheech li thi. Waha bohut saare logo the jo already kheech rahe the. I was surprised ki ek do hi photo hai (So somebody there clicked a picture. There were many people there who were already clicking pictures. I was surprised that there are only one or two photos).”

When asked if they were collaborating on a movie, Kartik paused briefly before responding, “As of now aesa kuch announcement nahi hai. Aur as of now toh abhi pata nahi mujhe (As of now there is no such announcement. And as of now I don’t know anything).”

Kartik was wearing a checkered shirt in the picture of him and Sara that surfaced online, while Sara wore a white crop top and black tights. Sara later uploaded a photo collage to Instagram. The collage showed her hotel room and a glimpse of her Rajasthani thali. Kartik posted a picture of the Udaipur lakefront with the caption “Now.”

Sara will next be seen with Vicky Kaushal in the untitled romantic drama film by director Laxman Utekar. Together with Chitrangada Singh and Vikrant Massey, she also possesses Gaslight. Her upcoming film, Ae Watan Mere Watan, will be seen by fans. In addition, she will be seen with Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Konkana Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Ali Fazal in filmmaker Anurag Basu’s upcoming anthology movie Metro In Dino.

The last movie that fans saw Kartik in was Rohit Dhawan’s Shehzada. In addition to Sachin Khedekar, the movie also has Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy, and Kriti Sanon in the key roles. It premiered on February 17 in theatres. In addition to this, he has the upcoming, untitled film from filmmaker Kabir Khan and the Kiara Advani-starring love musical Satyaprem Ki Katha.
