Shehzada box office: Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s film failed to improve on Sunday, bringing its opening weekend total to 20.2 crores.

Kartik Aryan and Kriti Sanon’s new film, Shehzada, also failed to meet expectations at the box office. After a 6 crore average opening on Friday, it showed little improvement in its first weekend, earning 20.2 crores in three days. Critics were divided about the film, which also marks Kartik’s debut as a co-producer.

Sharing the film’s weekend earnings, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted on Monday, “Shehzada doesn’t live up to the expectations… Weekend business is subpar… The *big* jump/turnaround on Saturday and Sunday that would have improved its prospects is clearly absent… Friday: $6.65 million, Saturday: $6.65 million, and Sunday: $7.55 million. Total: 20.20 crore [plus or minus]. Business in India.”
