Along with a stunning flat in Mumbai, Kangana Ranaut also has a luxurious home in Manali that was decorated by interior designer Shabnam Gupta, who has previously worked with celebrities such Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Mini Mathur, and the late Irrfan Khan. On Thursday, Kangana discussed her interest of interior design while posting a video from her Mumbai home.

The actor claimed to have  ‘always had a very clear vision’ for each of her residences. Kangana gave a sneak peek at the apartment renovation and styling she was doing for her own ‘mountain checks with Tanjore paintings’ look.

Kangana Ranaut posted a video of her residence and commented,”I have always had a very clear vision for all my houses but nothing comes close to doing it myself. Mountain checks with Tanjore paintings, all about a heart that belongs to the mountains, but loves southern India.” In the video, her staff could be seen placing two elaborately framed Tanjore paintings on a green wall, one next to the other. In front of the wall was a wooden daybed with cushions and a mattress covered in a grey and white check pattern.

On Wednesday, Kangana reposted Ritu Ranaut’s Instagram Story, which showed a notice board on a wall covered in floral wallpaper outside of a room. It said, “No trespassing. Violators will be shot. Survivors will be shot again!” On Instagram, Kangana frequently shares images and videos of her houses in Mumbai and Manali. Kangana uploaded images from her Mumbai home last month as she was updating the decor. Before Diwali last year, the actor had posted a picture of her Mumbai home, which had been festively decked with flowers and lights.

The star recently shared pictures of her snow-covered Manali house. The family home, which has a mountain-themed décor, is where her parents reside. Every room included rich wood panelling, plaid upholstery, family portraits, an all-glass conservatory, and views of the mountains.

In the Himachal Pradesh town of Bhambla, Kangana Ranaut was born. Gangster, her directorial debut, came out in 2006. Next up for the actor is Emergency, which she also directed. In the historical drama, Kangana will play the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi with Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman, and others.
