The actress Madhuri Dixit posted a heartfelt message to her mother Snehalata Dixit, who passed away early on Saturday. 90 years old. The actor tweeted an old photo of them in memory of her.

Madhuri and her mother were seen in the picture, possibly in their house. Madhuri shared it and captioned it, saying, “Woke up this morning to find Aai’s room empty. It feels surreal. She taught us to embrace and celebrate life. She gave so much to so many people. We will miss her dearly but she will live on in our memories. Her wit, positivity and grace were infectious. We will celebrate her life together through our memories. Om shanti om.”

Soon after she published it, admirers and famous people prayed for the soul of the deceased in the comments area. Mouni Roy remarked, “I’m so sorry ma’am. Sending love.” “Om Shanti,” while Dia Mirza used a praying hand and heart emoji. Love to all. “Om Shanti,” Raveena Tandon added.

The news of Snehalata’s passing was communicated to the media by Madhuri and Dr. Shriram Nene. With her loved ones by her side, “Our beloved Aai, Snehalata Dikshit, passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her loved ones.”  according to the statement. A number of famous people, including Madhuri, her husband Dr. Shriram Nene, and their younger son Ryan, witnessed the performance of her final rites in Worli’s Vaikunth Dham.

On Sunday, the family was visible leaving for the burial united and was dressed in white. They were driving while the press gathered around the car to get a glance. Madhuri made a sign of acknowledging them by fusing her hands together. Mickey Contractor, a prominent make-up artist, and Amritpal Singh Bindra, a film producer, were among those seen making their way to the funeral.

The eldest child of Snehalata is Madhuri. She has one older brother and two older sisters. In 2013, at the age of 91, their father Shankar Dixit passed away.

Maja Ma, which was made available on Prime Video last year, was Madhuri‘s most recent motion picture. It featured Gajraj Rao and was directed by Anand Tiwai. The drama series The Fame Game on Netflix marked Madhuri’s return to acting. Karan Johar produced the film.
