Actor-turned-author Twinkle Khanna, who is known for airing her ideas, recently remarked about her lack of cooking skills. Aarav and Nitara are the couple’s two children, and Twinkle is married to actor Akshay Kumar.

She frequently engages in conversation about her children and tells amusing anecdotes. Eventually, Twinkle discussed the lockout and disclosed that, due to her lack of cooking skills, she had been feeding Nitara peanut butter sandwiches every day. She even disclosed that her husband Akshay, a chef before breaking into show business, refused to prepare meals for the family at home.

Nitara would require therapy as an adult because she was fed the same meal every day throughout the lockdown, Twinkle suggested while speaking with chef Sanjeev Kapoor on her chat programme.

Any type of cuisine, according to the chef, can be made into a delicacy. Twinkle responded the same way and related her lockdown experience. She stated: “During the pandemic, I was giving her peanut butter sandwiches every day because we couldn’t cook. I can’t cook. Husband said that he is not going to cook. Now, I feel that she will grow up and go into therapy and say that others’ parents were making pasta and banana bread and everything, but my mother was giving me only peanut butter toast.”

Twinkle and Akshay, meanwhile, had just commemorated their 22nd wedding anniversary.

In London, the couple celebrated their big day. Twinkle uploaded a photo of themselves with Akshay as well as a photograph of the card he gave her, writing, “Only he could have got me this card! 22 years and it feels like our 2nd anniversary. It’s been over two decades and we have built a life that encompasses two children, our extended families, work, friends, dogs, a few goldfish, independence and stability. I suppose you don’t have to be alike to make it work. You just have to like each other enough.”
