“We’re going through a hard period right now, we’re trying to establish our identity, and that’s an arduous and long process,” another member, Jimin, said in the video as they talked about their future.

An English translation of the video published to YouTube shows one member using the term “hiatus,” however BTS’s management organisation stated, “They are not on hiatus, but will take some time to explore various individual ventures at this moment.”

However, the band’s fans, known as BTS ARMY, were incredibly supportive of their choice and showered the group with love.
