George Floyd’s daughter Ginna thanks Kanye West for securing her college education

In an Instagram post, George Floyd’s daughter has thanked rapper Kanye West for setting up a tuition fund to pay for her college education.

At the end of May, George Floyd was killed by a Minneapolis police officer after he knelt on his neck for almost nine minutes. Floyd’s death has sparked protests all over the world, where people are fighting for the equality of black people.

In early June, Kanye West had arranged the fund for Ginna to ensure to have a college education when she grows up.

The six-year-old Ginna wrote in an Instagram post,

“Thank You Kanye, because of you I will have a college education… Mommy and I are so thankful for you and your family.”

Kanye also donated $2 million (£1.5 million) to help pay for the legal fees of Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor, who were both been killed in America this year.

Not only Kanye, Singer Barbra Streisand also helped Ginna by making her one of Disney’s stakeholders.
