LOS ANGELES: The TV variation of the cult hit “American Psycho” continues. In a meeting with Deadline, Lionsgate TV chairman Kevin Beggs confirmed the TV version of the 2000 film, starring Christian Bale. Begs said the project is already in development.

“We have just wrapped up the ‘Dear White People’ which was a big hit, Blindspotting is coming,   American psycho is in development. We are still investigating what we can do on TV about something like Saw franchise, that is a conversation, “said Beggs.

“American psycho”, by looking at Bret Easton Ellis’ 1991 novel with the same name, highlights Bale as Patrick Bateman, a wealthy New York investment banker who has an unnatural obsession with the quality of people’s business cards, among other things. Over the course of the film, it was revealed that he could be a serial killer.

Lionsgate is also partnering with the TV side project “John Wick” which will focus on young Wilson, owner of the Continental Hotel in New York, which serves as a neutral place for assassins.
