Lopez also thanked her children, Emmy and Maximilian Muiz, 14, her manager, Benny Medina, and her fiancé, Ben Affleck, in her speech for supporting her for years.

Lopez is now giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the making of her 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show with Shakira as part of Halftime. As the film’s subject, you’d think Lopez would have seen it before its premiere, but you’d be wrong. As she told at the film’s premiere, which kicked off the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival, “I’m just as nervous as you are. I haven’t seen the finished product.”

“”I’m a little nervous,” Lopez added, “but excited and grateful that we’re doing it here in New York.” I wouldn’t want to do it any other way.” Several of Lopez’s celebrity friends, including Robert De Niro, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Today host Hoda Kotb, attended the premiere, “There’s something magical about this moment in her life.”
