Kim Kardashian is quite happy to see Pete Davidson again.

The couple, who had been associated since October, have been apart as the 28-year-old former Saturday Night Live actor filming Wizards!, his most recent film, in Australia.

A source tells PEOPLE that The Kardashians producer-star, 41, is eager to visit her comedian lover Pete now that the project is ending up.

“Kim cherished her July trip to Australia to see Pete. They spent a lengthy weekend together after being apart for several weeks “says the source.

“Although Pete is currently filming, he will be done in August. But he will still be busy because he has another project in the US.”

The co-founder of SKIMS is “simply pleased that he will be back in the U.S. soon,” the insider continues.

“Kim has found the distance challenging, but they are managing. They remain ecstatic. They take their relationship very seriously, “the source claims.

According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE in June, when the two spent time together before to Davidson’s lengthy international trip, Kardashian “can’t get enough” of him.

The insider at the time stated, “It’s their first summer as a couple and they are having a joy.

Pete will begin a demanding work schedule later this summer, so they are making the most of their current time together.

A source was added: “Kim is completely smitten. She is completely smitten with Pete. He is really kind to her. He is a fantastic guy for Kim—protective, incredibly helpful, and all around great. She is the most content.”
