On India’s Independence Day, theatres re-released Varun Dhawan’s “JugJugg Jeeyo.”

  • On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Indian independence, the film JugJugg Jeeyo, has recently been re-released in select theatres all throughout India
  • It is starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Anil Kapoor.

In order to make the announcement, Dharma Productions went to their Twitter account. I should also mention that due to popular demand, the movie was given a second run in theatres.

Dharma Productions’ post read, “#JugJuggJeeyo India! You asked. We heard. They’re back on the big screens! Celebrating the strong bond of family starting from this #IndependenceDay and through the festive week – as the JugJugg Jeeyo parivaar comes back to the big screens! (sic).”

Varun’s family drama has been a box office success, especially in comparison to recent Bollywood releases like Raksha Bandhan and Laal Singh Chaddha, which both opened to less than INR 50 crore.
