Eminem has revealed the reason behind his reconciliation with Snoop Dogg.

In an interview with Sirius XM, Eminem claimed that their previous feud ended when their friend Dr. Dre became ill.

Dre (actual name Andre Young), 57, experienced an aneurysm in January 2021 and was hospitalised for two weeks.

After that terrifying episode, Eminem (real name Marshall Mathers), 49, and Snoop Dogg (actual name Calvin Broadus), 50, decide to put the past behind them.

‘Me and Snoop had our little issue and then when Dre when that thing happened with Dre, the brain aneurysm thing…; Eminem told his longtime manager Paul Rosenberg on SiriusXM’s Paul Pod: Curtain Call 2.

‘We were like, bro this is stupid. This is stupid as hell to be feuding right now. So I don’t remember if I called him, or he called me, I can’t remember, but we talked it out,’ Eminem added.

He stated that the feud began with a “miscommunication” about a prospective collaboration on his song “Bitch Please II” from The Mathers LP in 2000.

‘I guess there was a misconception at the time about him being on my record The Mathers LP, Bitch Please II,’ Slim Shady, 49, claimed, adding that Snoop wanted Eminem to perform on one of Snoop’s tracks as well… but it never occurred.

‘I assume he wanted to do something with me and maybe gave you the concept or whatever, and you basically said something to the effect of, “Let’s hear the song first. Let’s find out what kind of tune it is, “‘The rapper added.

‘He said the way that he took it was kind of like that,’ Eminem explained of how the beef started.

Just over a year after Dr. Dre’s aneurysm at the historic Super Bowl halftime show in Los Angeles in February, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige would all join forces.
