At the annual Nashville Songwriters Awards on Tuesday, Taylor Swift was presented with the Songwriter-Artist of the Decade award.

On September 20, the star-studded celebration took place at Tennessee’s Ryman Auditorium.

With her most recent victory, the Folklore singer has earned the distinction of becoming the first female artist to get the renowned award.

The All Too Well vocalist also set a record by winning the NSAI Songwriter of the Year award seven times between 2007 and 2015, which is an incredible accomplishment for the performer.

Swift made a 13-minute statement in which she discussed her approach to songwriting and re-recorded her first six studio albums as she accepted the award.

“I’m up here receiving this beautiful award for a decade of work, and I can’t possibly explain how nice that feels. Because the way I see it, this is an award that celebrates a culmination of moments,” she said on stage.

“Challenges. Gauntlets were laid down. Albums I’m proud of. Triumphs. Strokes of luck or misfortune. Loud, embarrassing errors and the subsequent recovery from those mistakes, and the lessons learned from all of it.”

“This award celebrates my family and my co-writers and my team. My friends and my fiercest fans and my harshest detractors and everyone who entered my life or left it. Because when it comes to my songwriting and my life, they are one and the same,” said the singer, who dazzled in a stunning black sequined dress at the ceremony.

The crowd was then treated to Swift’s full, 10-minute live performance of “All Too Well.”
