He remembers getting a call from a casting director he knew well and hearing that they were putting together a top-secret movie read-through, but that everything would be revealed if he just showed up at the St. Regis and entered this particular room. And I thought, “This is extremely strange and creepy.”

David Harbour claims that his weight loss as a result of “Stranger Things” “felt like a rebirth” for his fitness and health
The casting director was open about wondering why he had been requested to attend the audition. He was informed that the unidentified director had seen him in Revolutionary Road from 2008: They said you were attractive because you were in a sex scene.

Prior to the audition, Harbor was quite curious. So all weekend long, Harbour joked with Kimmel, 55, “I was literally thinking about Ridley Scott and Martin Scorsese.”

“I arrive at the St. Regis, enter the room where a number of other New York actors are waiting for me, and Madonna, the film’s director, enters. I was immediately struck by the thought, “Wow, Madonna thinks I’m sexy,” “He recalled.

The actor for Black Widow said the audition was a “really scary, exhilarating experience” because he had been infatuated on the singer ever since he was 11 and watched her “Open Your Heart” music video. He told Kimmel, “So there I am, in this St. Regis boardroom, and it all comes flooding back.

The movie also starred James D’Arcy, Abbie Cornish, and Andrea Riseborough in addition to Harbour. The movie did poorly at the box office. Harbour acknowledged, “The movie wasn’t great.

To attend Madonna’s birthday celebration, though, was “one of the coolest things I’ve ever done” as a result of the experience.

“She entered the room wearing a stunning emerald outfit. When the party began, she wore sweatpants, and Madonna music was being played nonstop “He remembered. “Madonna and I danced to her song. That will be on my tombstone!”
