“I stayed for 25 years until aspirin-like television advertisements for AIDS medications started to appear. My career was destroyed by it. I spent eight years unemployed. I was warned that funding might be cut if I mentioned condoms once more. My life was continuously threatened, so I made the decision that I had to continue “extra Stone.

However, the Flight Attendant actress stated she has no regrets and cited the 40 million people who died of AIDS prior to the invention of antiretroviral drugs as evidence.

Stone added somberly, “Now 37 million are living with HIV AIDS, living functioning and well.”
