When former co-star Lizzy Savetsky left the Bravo series “Real Housewives of New York City,” newcomer Jenna Lyons was taken aback.

The former J. Crew CEO, 54, said to a source exclusively at the American Museum of Natural History Gala in New York City earlier this week, “I believe everyone was startled.

I acknowledge that the situation is difficult, but I genuinely want the best for her.

Savetsky, 36, reportedly left the “RHONY” remake in November, citing allegations that she was subjected to a surge of anti-Semitic hostility from the minute she agreed to appear on the show.

The social media influencer, who is Jewish, allegedly “experienced hate from fans for being pro-Israel,” according to several previous reports.

Then, Savetsky herself confirmed her departure, writing on Instagram that she had been subjected to “a flood of [anti-Semitic] insults,” and that as they persisted, she decided that this was no longer the best course of action for her and her family.

A source later discovered, though, that there was more to Savetsky’s hurried departure.

Several insiders revealed to us that Savetsky and fellow “Housewife” Brynn Whitfield had been discussing marriages between Jews and non-Jews when an alleged use of racial slurs occurred.

Sources claim Savetsky thought Whitfield, a half-black actor, intended to inform the other cast members that the proud Zionist had used the N-word during their call.

When recounting the conversation to the production, Savetsky’s husband, plastic surgeon Dr. Ira Savetsky, is alleged to have used the full N-word.

Lyons is loving every minute of filming the show, despite the drama that has already occurred.
