T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach  co-anchors appeared happy and loyal to one another as they walked arm in arm through the rainy streets of New York City on Thursday, despite the fact that their professional futures are in jeopardy as ABC investigates the nature of their relationship.

The two were spotted in pictures obtained by the Daily Mail grinning and laughing as they walked down the sidewalk after what appeared to be a lunch date at the Capital Grille.

At the restaurant’s bar, Holmes, 45, and Robach, 49, ate steak, a salad, and wine. They talked throughout the meal while seated close to one another.

The two walked back toward Holmes’ apartment in the Financial District after lunch.

Holmes chose black sneakers and a black scarf for the visit, while Robach finished off her ensemble with brown boots and a white sweatshirt. The broadcasters matched in blue jeans and neutral-colored peacoats for the outing.

The two “wouldn’t dare be caught together… while ABC is making a choice,” an insider claimed to the Mail on Tuesday.

They don’t want to put their futures with the network in any more danger than they already have, the informant added, adding that although their marriages are over, they still have children to consider.
