Top Gun Maverick is certainly the gift that keeps on giving, Why not spend three hours watching the football beach scene from the movie in addition to enjoying the holiday season cuddled up on the couch with your favorite Christmas movies? Thankfully, the studio has already done the hard work for you in their freshly released looped video of the sequence, so you won’t have to keep pressing play and rewind.

There is no fresh material that viewers may anticipate seeing in the just-released video. The three-hour version, just like the film, provides a happy break from the action as Maverick and Top Gun’s best graduates play some football on the beach. The biggest distinction between this version and the movie, aside from duration (and looping), is that this version includes a festive instrumental soundtrack. One Republic’s “I Ain’t Worried” was playing in the background at the scene in the movie.

Top Gun: Maverick, which was released more than 30 years after the original Top Gun and stars Tom Cruise as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, marks the character’s comeback. Mitchell has spent his whole life pushing the limits of naval aviation. But when Maverick is tasked with guiding Top Gun’s finest grads on a perilous mission, he soon encounters a challenge he wasn’t quite prepared for: Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of Maverick’s late comrade Goose (originally played by Anthony Edwards). Maverick must concentrate on getting himself and the others ready for the mission as he and Rooster butt heads.

Top Gun: Maverick has been a resounding success since its first release earlier this year, consistently reaching new heights at the box office. It made $126.7 million during its debut weekend and has had strong performances every week. It finally overtook Avengers: Infinity War in the domestic box office, moving up to position #6 on the list of all movies ever made. It held steady and eventually made over $1 billion worldwide, becoming the first of Cruise’s films to do so. It is presently the highest-grossing film of 2022.

Ehren Kruger, Eric Warren Singer, and Christopher McQuarrie wrote the screenplay for the movie, which was directed by Joseph Kosinski. Glen Powell, Jon Hamm, Jay Ellis, Lewis Pullman, Charles Parnell, Bashir Salahuddin, Monica Barbaro, Danny Ramirez, Greg Tarzan Davis, Ed Harris, and Val Kilmer are among the additional cast members.
