“I can’t go on like this,” Usman said in an interview. “I can’t stay in [this] toxic relationship that appears unhealthy to me. I don’t see why a woman who is 18 years my senior would act like someone much younger.”

Kim and Usman split after a stressful week in which she didn’t feel Usman was giving her his undivided attention — despite the fact that she flew to Nigeria from America. Kim also claimed Usman told her off-camera that she needed a “tummy tuck.” When Usman’s criticism became too much for Kim, he became enraged.

Usman didn’t take kindly to her claims that she had “sacrificed” so much to be with him, given the difficulties he had in convincing his family to approve their relationship.

Kim stormed out of the room, leaving her engagement ring behind. She did, however, return later to try to repair the connection.

“I don’t want to come to an end with you. I don’t want to break up with you, but I also want to be heard in this relationship “She informed Usman. “You sometimes make me feel like I’m not good enough… I don’t want to be in anyone’s good graces.”

Usman, on the other hand, was not willing to give it another shot. “I don’t want to drag this out, and I’ll explain why,” Usman replied. “You are always under the impression that you are doing a lot. You claim to make the most sacrifices. I share your sentiments.”

Usman also stated that he was only thinking about adopting his nephew for Kim before adding, “Kimberly, I believe you made the best decision. You are not interested. You took off the ring. I believe it is past time for me to return home.”

Later, in an interview, Kim expressed her displeasure with Usman: “This could be it, because he’s not hearing me. He makes so many sacrifices to be with me — I’m tired of that s—- being in my face as well. Allow one of these babes in his DMs to get him.”

Usman’s final straw was Kim’s willingness to walk away. “Kimberly doesn’t understand the kind of sacrifices I’m making in order for us to be together in life,” he explained. “She is constantly walking away. Then, later, she returns and apologizes. What I care about is who can give me peace, and I don’t think Kimberly and I will ever be at peace.”

After Usman left the set, the segment ended with a devastated Kim sobbing on her suitcase.

Earlier in the episode, Kim and Usman spent a long time with Mahadi after Usman’s brother gave him the go-ahead to adopt the boy and raise him in the United States if their mother approved.

This was an unexpected turn in their relationship for Kim. She’d previously agreed to allow Usman to marry another woman so he could have children outside of their relationship. When he suggested adoption, Kim wondered if she ever wanted to be a mother again.

Kim and Usman appeared to be saying their goodbyes at the end of the episode. Kim packed her bags to return to America as the musician left Kim’s Nigeria hotel to return home.
