Regarding Jon Snow’s future in Game of Thrones, Kit Harington is keeping his future plans a secret. Jimmy Fallon, the host of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, questioned the 36-year-old actor on Friday’s broadcast on the veracity of rumors regarding a potential spin-off series about Snow.

Harington gave a straightforward response, telling Fallon, 48 while grinning and scratching his ear: “I’m not sure. Do you desire to possess it?”

The Hollywood Reporter first revealed that a follow-up television series based on Harington’s character was in the works back in June 2022.

Even while the actor has been mum about any character recurrences, telling Fallon, “I can’t say anything,” regarding the upcoming series, Harington said there is one reason he would do a spin-off: to gain more notoriety.

He chuckled, “I don’t know, man. I walk down the street and I get recognized a little less these days, and it kind of wounds my ego, you know? “I’m almost ready to put on some furs,” the speaker said.

I kept track of how few requests for images I receive each day in my brain, Harington continued. And I believe I will create a spin-off when it falls below a particular level.

Fallon then delivered a humorous PSA, advising “Kit Harington fans” to “not ask him” for a picture. By Monday, if you keep it up for the next two days, Fallon predicted, “we may have an answer, and right now we could see a Game of Thrones spin-off with Jon Snow.” “We’ll tackle this as a team.”

When Fallon questioned the actor about going to the official Game of Thrones conference in Los Angeles in December, the GoT discussion got going. At the gathering, Harington spoke candidly about how he thought his Snow character was faring following the 2019 finale of the series.

“It was a bit like going back in time,” Harington said of attending the event. “I know it’s only been four years or something, but it feels longer. And I went to it, and it was nice seeing the fans. It’s kind of amazing that that show’s still got such a fanbase and it’s continuing on in its own way.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, Harington also disclosed that Snow was “not okay” when fans last saw him at the conference. Harington claimed that his character “would’ve felt he got off lightly” following the series finale, which saw him kill Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and be exiled to the Wall in the North. The greatest blessing and the worst curse, he continued, are that he visits the Wall.

“He’s gotta go back up to the place with all this history and live out his life thinking about how he killed Dany, and live out his life thinking about Ygritte [played by wife Rose Leslie] dying in his arms, and live out his life thinking about how he hung Olly [Brenock O’Connor], and live out his life thinking about all of this trauma, and that … that’s interesting,” Harington continued.

“There is always this sensation of like where we leave him at the end of the show, in my opinion. We likely desired a small smile to signal that everything is fine. He is not fine, “said Harington, who played the part for the whole run of the eight-season drama based on George R. R. Martin’s books.
