“M3GAN” clip features Brandon in a never-before-seen faceoff
Thanks to the production’s outstanding marketing techniques and online memes that went viral, we have all heard about M3GAN by this point. But because of its PG-13 rating, some of M3GAN’s strong scenes—which are reportedly too intense for the theater—have been cut from the film. But the lifelike doll will make another appearance, this time in the comfort of our homes, showing that she is a person who doesn’t give up easy. The production team for the horror movie has posted a never-before-seen clip of M3GAN pulling off Brandon’s ear in a far gorier manner ahead of the movie’s unrated Blu-ray release on March 21.
Despite having to edit some of the film’s graphic sequences, the artificial robot has been a box office triumph since its January 6 release. The newest never-before-seen clip is merely a tease on how evil M3GAN can go without the PG-13 designation since the unrated version is on the way. In the scene, Brandon (Jack Cassidy) needed to learn a few things, particularly about manners. The full ear-tearing action, which is bloodier than the theatrical cut, is highlighted in the unrated version even though the censored version showed M3GAN brutally removing Brandon’s ear.
In M3GAN’s defense, Brandon was a complete bully. But did he really need to discover something the hard way? Obviously not. Yet she will stop at nothing to keep Cady (Violet McGraw) safe, even if that includes tearing off someone’s ear and finally having them run over by a car to make it look like an accident.
In the movie M3GAN, which is directed by Gerard Johnstone and stars Allison Williams as the bright robotics expert Gemma, Cady, age 8,’s parents were murdered in a car accident, and Cady was unexpectedly placed in Gemma’s care. Gemma chose to couple her robot prototype with Cady, which is intended to guard her from all harm and to be her companion during the darkest days of her life, as having children was not in her goals and her work was at the top of her list of obligations. M3GAN, however, mistook what “protection” meant and has since developed her own definition of what it means to protect the child, which includes killing.
With the brutal moments in the PG-13 version of M3GAN, we can only presume it will be a grisly experience even though we don’t know what further scenes the unrated version of the film would contain.
